Gabbar Singh 2 may hit screens next summer

After three scheduled shooting in locations around Hyderabad, in Gujarat and surroundings of Kolkata, the unit of Gabbar Singh 2 , starring Pawan Kalyan, is getting ready to embark on another, 25-day work schedule from November 15 in Gujarat again.

Considering the scale of the production by Northstar Entertainments, Eros International and Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, the star’s own banner, no one is talking much about the movie per se, restricting themselves to strategic promotion of the film being directed by K.S. Ravindra who earlier made Power with Ravi Teja.

Music for the film has been scored by Devisri Prasad and in the close circles, it is already said to be rocking. Although ‘GS 2’ was being planned to hit the screens by Sankranthi in 2016, it is now being said that it might release only by around summer that year. Considering the runaway success that the original Gabbar Singh was, expectations about this too are very high.

There are other reasons too, for the rising expectations about this film. Prominent among them is the fact that it’s for the first time that Kajal Agarwal is cast opposite the ‘Power Star’. This in itself is what people firmly believe, will be ‘paisa vasool’!

Prema Leela fares well

Despite clashing with the much hyped Akhil , the Telugu dubbed version of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has fared well at the box office on the first day. While Akhil’s debut film titled Akhil released on Deepavali, Wednesday, Prema Leela hit the screens on Thursday. The latest product from Rajshri’s stable was shown in 350 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On the first day, the film grossed Rs. 3 crore.
